  • Tony Palermo from Papa Roach talking about AAF

Hey guys check this video out, it’s pretty fun 🙂

  • Couple of words on “Greatest Hits”, new album name to be revealed soon…

Here’s a couple of words on AAF’s Greatest Hits from 1999:

I have so many fond memories of recoding Greatest Hits. I’m sure the other guys do too. We were really growing at that time. Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Brian Setzer) Produced that record, and basically shaped us into quite crafty songwriters. I will forever love him for showing me how to roll with a song. A singer bobbing in a lake of melody, and just rolling with it. A great friend, Miguel Martinez also helped mix and create that record with us. He has long since past away, but we all think of him as if he was still with us. Miguel risked his job for that record. He worked as an assistant at a wonderful studio in Los Angeles. When the studio closed for the night, we would be parked around the block and he would call us after everyone had left, and we would basically sneak in and work on the songs. For quite a few nights we did this same maneuver, and it was scary and a lot of fun at the same time. We would work until the morning, and basically have to put the mixing board back to where it was before we got there. I mean EVERY SINGLE BUTTON AND KNOB ON THAT BOARD WAS PUT BACK TO WHERE IT WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE. We would hug and go home, and Miguel would basically drive around the block, Just to pull back into the studio to open for his boss, like nothing had ever happened. He believed in us. He was one of us. I Love him for so many reasons, but that’s a good one right there. Greatest Hits… It Hits me… Right in the heart – Dryden
